My Journey
I was born in a very remote area in the country, Damana, Ampara, in the eastern province. It is a gift of Mother Nature. Generally, it is called a dry zone and it is a miraculous, splendid land in our country.
I schooled Damana Maha Vidyalaya, Prince of Wales College –Moratuwa and Gamini maha Vidyalaya Ampara, graduated in Colombo university having Journalism as a subject.
I started my career as a provincial news writer and photographer. having several professional media training. I joined Rupavahini (National Television) as an assistant producer. I was able to produce all types of Television programs and so far I have won four national television awards and two international awards for my television works.
Apart from my Television work, I engage in Photography and writing. I enthusiastically roam everywhere of the country exploring the beauty of my motherland. I sincerely invite you to join with me to entertain my arts.
